add option to write out default airport ops file.option to specify if touch and gos are allowed on a runway, default is true for airports with not much traffic and false for airports with lots of traffic but can be changed. This should get rid of the need for ground routes entirely. I plan on letting the airport author specify an alternate apt.dat for specific parking spots in the next update if you want planes to follow a very specific route for 1 or more parking spots. I think the dynamic ones work pretty well now though. It will use whatever is defined or create them dynamically for parking defs without fixed ground routes. DynamicTaxiRoutesOnly field added - normally set to 1 (true) but can be set to 0 if the airport creator still wants to use some custom ground routes. Can set data you want in the labels like telemetry info, airport info, aircraft type. Can set min and max draw distances for labels. Can turn labels on or off as well for planes on the ground.Color/brightness options for arriving traffic, departing traffic, or transiting traffic. ![]() Labels for AI aircraft which you can turn on and off to identify aircraft near you.Aircraft base file format modified to include particle placement x/y/z fields for particle emitters.Particle effects for contrails (wing/engine), tire smoke, afterburner flame.allows for user-defined VFR airspace exit points so ATC can vector VFR flights to these positions.has interface for other 3rd party ATC products.user may be required to make speed changes or enter holding patterns to maintain separation.requires that users use valid ATC frequencies with frequencies listed on display.I defined special cases to deal with the taxi network lines extending to parking spots or cases where the plane just has to back up to the taxi network. Unless you want to give them priorities or assign some as for international terminals or modify push-back but even the latter should mostly work now in this update. And you shouldn't need to define parking defs He emphasized that while DPW is hoping to implement these changes by the end of the year, there are still things that need to be done such as finding a graphic designer to help with the Connect Niagara rebranding, as well as gaining input from the community on the new routes.I've tried to make things be as automatic as possible now in WT 3.5 so you shouldn't need to define ground routes. Other planned improvements are: free transfers from one route to another, fare reciprocity with the NFTA Metro system, a Connect Niagara smartphone app to make fare payment easier, and monthly fare plans that would cost riders less over the long term.Īmidst these changes, DPW does not plan to increase bus fares, Meal said. "Choosing a name that will speak out to the entire county, I think will better reflect our service." It's a service for all of Niagara County," said Meal. "The name 'Niagara County Rural Transportation' kind of indicates that it's a rural service, which isn't entirely true. ![]() The name is being changed to Connect Niagara, which, Meal believes, should dispel any notions about the bus service being for rural areas of the county only. To raise public awareness of the county bus system, rebranding is underway. In addition, the service will provide coverage to Somerset and Barker for the first time. "This will allow us to have a more consistent bus route, where a bus will be able to go down that route several times a day, and provide much more predictability of when services will be available," said Meal. The new route plans will add more frequency to common routes that will have less overlap with the NFTA Metro system.
